This is a new meme hosted by Paperbook Princess and Readers In Wonderland
The point of the meme is to find new blogs
All you have to do is:
Make a post! Easy right? Answer the weekly question, grab our button, and copy the code for the linky list we have posted.
Get the post URL, copy it, and enter the linky list.
The point of the meme is "leap frog" so it is a requirement to follow the person in front of you on the list! Not everyone, but the person directly before you. (And the hosts!)
Leave a comment on the post of whomever you follow, talking about the question and telling them you followed. (So they can follow you back!)
After you do the mandatory follows, you can then go around and comment/follow on anyone on the list!
Remember:
This runs for the ENTIRE week, meaning you have the entire week to go around and follow/enter.
Follow anyone who follows you back! Even if it's later in the week!
You can check out the full rules here.
Question:
If you could read only one book over and over again, what would it be and why?
If I had to pick only one book, that means I can't pick a series, I just couldn't read only the first book. So I'm choosing
The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks.
It's the book I've reread the most aside from the
Roswell High series,
Divergent and
Insurgent. I really like the plot and the characters and wouldn't mind reading it over and over.
This one reminds me (even more than Dear John) of a personal experience, that's probably why I like it so much.
What would be the book you could read over and over without hating it? Leave your answer or add your link. Check the original post here Readers in Wonderland or here Paperbook Princess
I haven't read any of these... yet! I want to read Divergent really bad, but I have many other books I have to read too. Can you believe I haven't read even one Nicholas Sparks book? I'm so behind. Thanks for joining up this week!
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about Divergent, but I haven't had the time to read the book. :) good choices though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any Nicholas Sparks books either! I have seen The Notebook movie though. I suppose that counts a little bit. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and here's my link: http://www.lindseyrloucks.com/2013/01/leap-frog-follow-hp-week-2.html
ReplyDeleteI haven't read The Lucky One, but I loved the movie. Hmm, I think I'll have to give the book a shot. I've re-read several of my favorites. I love Glass Houses by Rachel Caine. Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. And The Host Stephenie Meyer. Of course you saw my sneaky pick, The Shapeshifters by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Any one of these I could sit back and read again. Tha
ReplyDeleteI couldn't watch the movie, I started watching it and I just didn't like it. I usually don't like the movie if I watch it after reading the book but this time I couldn't even finish it. I think I loved the book so much and the movie was just so different. Maybe I should give it another try.
DeleteGrr!! I can't believe I was such an airhead yesterday and forgot about this :) lol. Oh well, there's always next week.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my answer would definitely be Scarlett by Alexandra Ripley (it's the sequel to Gone With the Wind). I loved that book so much :)
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on the Divergent discussion. I wasn't sure in the first few chapters if I was going to like the book or not because it seemed like it was just one bad thing happening to her after another and it was all of her own choosing. Depressing. But it's really getting interesting and I'm having trouble keeping pace with everyone else because I want to just read it all and find out what happens! Lol.
I love that you put links to the books you're talking about because I've never heard of the Roswell High series and I'm off to Goodreads now to check it out :) Happy reading!!
