Know Me Better
Know Me Better is hosted by I am A Reader, Not A Writer
Each week she picks 5 questions for us to answer.
This week's questions:
Is there anything you would like to say to or ask your favorite author?
Are you a dreamer or a realist?
Theater or Rental?
Share a family tradition.
Favorite late night snack?
What would I ask or say to my favorite author
I'll choose Nicholas Sparks. I'd ask him if his characters are based on someone he knows. I want to know if guys like that exist because I don't think I've met any like his characters.
I have more than one favorite author, so I would tell them all thanks, because they've written my favorite books and because of them I like to read.
Am I a dreamer or a realist?
A dreamer
Theater or rental?
I prefer theater, I hardly watch movies at home, unless they're on TV and I really like them, but not if it's planned and we have to rent them. I don't know why but I feel like we could be doing something else.
Family traditions
I can't think of any, I don't think we have family traditions. Though I would like to have family traditions with my kids and husband. (I don't have either yet)
Favorite late night snack
I don't eat snacks at night anymore but I would prefer chocolate.

I share your thoughts on watching movies at home! I usually plan that like an event with marathon-watching. Otherwise I also feel like I could be doing better things that sittin on the couch and staring at a screen...
ReplyDeleteI also try not to late-night-snack, but since I'm sometimes up until 2am it can be hard :P
Great answers! I also sometimes wonder about whether people like those book characters exist in real life...

Ahh totally a dreamer.. with a little daytime realist thrown in!! We dont have many traditions either as a family but we are working on it.. You will get some of your own when you find something either incredibly silly that you just have to do it again.. or incredibly great that you really enjoy.. :) they sneak up on you.. you dont realize its a tradition till you start uttering phrases like " we always do it this way".. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember reading an news article a couple of years ago about Sparks having based one of his books, I think it was the Notebook but I can't remember, on a real soldier and his story. Thanks for stopping by my blog. The author I wanted to talk to was Margaret Mitchell who wrote Gone with the Wind. Have a great weekend! I'm following you now.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the monkey theme! I'm a fan of Nicholas Sparks as well.

We think alike when it comes to watching movies at home.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love chocolate, I've found that I can't eat any kind of sugary snack late at night because I usually end up having bad dreams for some reason.
ReplyDeleteSparks is one of my favorite authors! --Looking for a family tradition too ..what I wrote was a stretch. :D
ReplyDeleteI love watching movies in the theater, but I hardly get to go anymore so I usually watch at home. This is a cool meme, I might have to participate sometime!
ReplyDeleteI get so irritated by the high s=costs of movies at the theaters but I do love going to them. Happy day!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it is expensive, that's why I try to say no, I can't afford to go every week. But I rather watch them there than at home, except if it's a sad movie and I know it will make me cry
DeleteI love your blog sidebar...wish I could fit that many icons on mine :( Hope you create wonderful traditions for your family and enjoy all the memories that will come from those traditions.
