New Reading Challenges

I found two other reading challenges that I want to join.
I'm adding more books to each month, I'm excited for 2013!

I love Ireland and I found the perfect challenge, 2013 Ireland Reading
Challenge hosted by Books and Movies

This includes, Irish authors, books set in Ireland, involving Irish history or
         characters.
This challenge has levels (I love challenges with levels, excited!) and I'm
picking the Shamrock level: 4 books because I think this is going to be a
little hard to find books, since I'm very picky and I don't know how to look for
this theme. If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
So far, I know of one book I'll be reading: The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by
Irish author John Boyne which I've read before but I love the book.
Since most of the ones I've seen with levels say you can always move up, I
hope we can do that with this one as well.

Here is where you can sign up: Ireland Challenge

I was reminded by some of the books I read for the End of the World Marathon
how much I like mystery books. So this next challenge was just great to find
more, so the second challenge is 2013 Mystery/Crime Reading Challenge
      hosted by Amy

You can read any book or short story, but 5 short stories count as one novel.
And any novel, anything over 100 pages counts as one book.
This has levels as well and I'm choosing Sergeant = 10 books. I'm picking this
one because I'm hoping I'll read 12 (one for each month since they are easier
        to find).

  3. Hey, Rivie, Carrie K. was kind enough to direct me to your website as I am an author of two Irish historical series and am looking for bloggers interested in a very relaxed blog tour slated for around St. Patrick's Day.

My Irish series are called The Daughters of Boston and Winds of Change, and book 1 in the DOB series, A Passion Most Pure, takes place in both Boston and Ireland. APMP was voted American Christian Fiction Writers 2009 Debut Book of the Year and currently has 152 five-star reviews on Amazon. The book that I would be promoting for St. Patrick's Day blog tour is my most current release, A Light in the Window, which will coincide with a sale on that book.

I invite you to check out the BOOKS tab of my website to see if A Light in the Window would appeal to you enough to participate in my blog tour. You can contact me through my website if you are interested, and here's the BOOKS link. Hope to hear from you soon!
